Fifth Place: Hearst Multimedia Competition

I was a contributing member of a story team that documented the situation surrounding the Sheriff's department in Josephine County, a small, rural county in Southern Oregon. The multimedia project, titled Rogue Territory, told the story of how the Sheriff's department was dealing with their limitations to only have one sheriff on patrol at a time as a result of voted down tax increase that would have contributed more money to law enforcement.
